Take down Type 1 Diabetes event with headliner Fiona Way to support Team CHUCK (Communities Helping Us Cure Kids).  Team CHUCK is a local Bloomington family non-profit raising funds to support Type 1 diabetes research, advocacy and education through the JDRF.  Ava Grace was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 7 with a blood sugar level near 600 (normal range is from 70-100).  This auto immune disease impacts millions of people and families world wide and does NOT have a cure.

Our family team will rally around Ava Grace this year for her first Ride to Cure Diabetes in La Crosse Wisconsin.  Ava, her mother, 2 grand mothers, grand father, uncle and step father will saddle up and ride bicycles to fight for a cure.  Each rider is committed to raising a minimum of $2000 towards the fight and all of the proceeds will go directly to the JDRF any donations over our goal will sponsor/recruit other riders!

The goal is to raise much needed funds that support the JDRF in research, advocacy and education to fight for a much needed cure and until then advancements in maintenance and care of this disease.

Come out and join the fun and fight the fight for this amazing team and worthy cause.  Our plan is to surpass our goal and sponsor and recruit other riders to help turn Type 1 into Type NONE!!

We will have exciting raffles and other ways to put the “FUN” in fundraising with lots of great surprises!!
